On Saturday, April 19th, hundreds of Friends & Fans attended the “Wild Western Gala Gathering” Benefit Event, hosted by Gary Martinson at his world class Bison Museum located at 16641 N. 91st St., in Scottsdale and showed their support for Arizona’s #1 Cowgirl Performer, Paula Saletnik {aka: Pistol Packin’ Paula}. 100% of All Proceeds went directly to Paula’s Medical & Rehabilitation Fund to get her “Back in the Saddle Again!”
Special Thanks go out to the “Best in the West” line-up of Performers who graciously “Donated” their Talents to Paula’s event. Singer/Songwriter Tom Hiatt... the McNasty Brothers, John “Lucky” Robinson & Wild Bill LeFever... the Whistle Stop Bluegrass Band... Jeff “Justus” Harrison... Another “Big” Thank You to all of the generous Businesses and Private Parties that Donated All the incredible Silent & Live Auction items. Guests were able to bid on a variety of things, ranging from Original Artwork, Jewelry, Vacation Get-Away’s, Clothing, Custom Made Hats, Collector Items to a One-Of-a-Kind Celebrity Signed Martin Guitar.
The evenings “All” volunteer staff, comprised of an array of Cowboys & Cowgirls from DR Buck Productions and The Bison Museum, went the extra mile to insure that guests enjoyed all the entertainment, Live & Silent auctions, food provided by Frances Frybread & More Catering , refreshments and libations provided by AZ Nights Bartenders and of course, tours of the world class Bison Museum that houses Arizona’s Premier Bison & Western Collections.
The Gala Event was made complete by having the “Lady of the Hour”, Miss Pistol Packin’ Paula herself, not only in attendance to meet & greet, but she also surprised & delighted the crowd with a small impromptu performance. Proving that “Ya Can’t Keep This Cowgirl Down!”
Paula’s Doctors say that her recovery is moving along as scheduled, but that injuries, such as those suffered by Paula will take not only time, but also something that Paula is brimming over with...Determination!.
