NRHA’s original Million Dollar showman, and four-time Open Futurity winner, Bill Horn has been hospitalized over six weeks. What was supposed to be a quick inpatient procedure to neutralize a benign tumor in the lung turned into a fight for life as Horn faced continuing medical emergencies. After several abdominal surgeries and an induced coma the legendary cowboy was in pretty bad shape.
Right after the NRBC, long-time friend Bryant Pace drove the Horn’s motor home and Bill’s favorite dog, Freckles, to the hospital. Dr. John Antastasi gave permission for Freckles to join Bill in the Intensive Care Unit, and that lifted his spirit so much, in fact, that Bill has been allowed to visit outside of his hospital room each day with Kim and Freckles.
Kim asks that you keep Bill in your thoughts and prayers as they are taking this all day by day.
