The much-anticipated new American Quarter Horse Journal is only a few weeks away from mailboxes. With the official publication of the world’s largest equine breeJuned registry premiering big changes to celebrate its 60th anniversary, now is the time to subscribe or renew.
The Journal’s changes will include improved audience targeting with a new, easily navigated layout sectioned for different disciplines. We are highly committed to helping breeders and owners market their horses and believe these changes reflect that commitment.”

The showcase June issue will feature the rule changes from the 2008 AQHA Convention and an article on what AQHA is doing for shows in its general news section. Rail and pattern enthusiasts will be sure to benefit from AQHA professional horsewoman Lynn Palm’s tips on how to feel diagonals in their section, and speed eventers will love Professional Horseman Doug Leasor’s barrel racing clinic put to paper in the speed, rodeo and ropes section. Other sections will include tips on sliding stops and a fun “name the brand” quiz.
