19 booths for detailed information into western riding and breed associations
Americana (Augsburg, September 3-7,2008) offers great sport and entertainment as well as an attractive platform of information about the western riding scene. 19 associations will present themselves at Americana this year – more than ever before. Their booths will be located around the 12x19 metre forum ring in hall 4.
The variety of associations offers a superb chance of information to all visitors. Here, beginners will find ways of how and where to start western riding or showing. But also the experienced rider and horse owner will get further information, new ideas and tips. The variety of western associa-tions corresponds to the fascinating variety of western riding. There are western riding associa-tion in general as well as associations specialized upon certain disciplines or on certain breeds.
The European Reined Cow Horse Association is an association specialized on Reined Cow Horses. It is a very active partner of Americana sponsoring EUR 20,900.—for the cow horse classes in Augsburg.

Exciting Evening Shows
The three Americana evening shows have always been special highlights, and this year’s shows offer a unique combination of exciting sport, fun and entertainment again. The first evening show of Americana 2008 starts on Thursday, September 4, at 8 p.m.: „Run of the Stars – Reining at its best!“ offering the finals in the Masters Pleasure and – above all – the NRHA Bronze Trophy Reining Open with a total purse of EUR 30,000.-- added. The evening show „Cow Horse Festival“ on Friday September 5 offers the finals in Reined and Cow Work of the European Reined Cow Horse Futurity as well as the EC final in Western Pleasure and top Freestyle Reining. The third evening show „Cutting Spectacular“ on September 6 offers the finals in Cutting and Working Cowhorse.
Biggest Western Riding Fair of Europe
But Americana is more than only top level sport. There are the famous Red Grizzly Saloon, the Western Town and plenty of country music. Then there is entertainment and fun including the trainers’ forum, a western style fashion show and the biggest exhibition for western riders in Europe. More than 200 exhibitors are expected there

Competitors will find the nomination form (Orderset) in the internet at www.americana.de, follow-ing the button “Sportteilnehmer/Show Participants” and then “Nennformulare/Nomination forms”.
Tickets
For those who do not wish to miss anything of Americana’s exciting programme, a ‘Whole Show Pass’ is the best thing which includes entry both to the daily programme and the evening shows. But individual tickets are available as well. Ticket sale for 2008 Americana is under way. Tickets can be ordered at www.americana.de following the button ‘Ticketing”. Tickets can be ordered online or by mail after downloading the form from the website. It is wise to order tickets in time in order to get the best seats
