Nothing Small about this Miniature Show! Over 5,000 Entries Anticipated for the 2008 American Miniature Horse Registry National Championship Show in Tulsa

The annual American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR) National Championship Show is scheduled for September 4th-13th at the Expo Square Arena in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The AMHR National Championship Show is highlight of the year determining the Nation’s the top Miniature Horses.
As in previous years, the show committee is expecting more than 5000 entries. The AMHR National Championship Show is gearing runs a full slate of classes throughout the day and evening. Admission is free and spectators are welcome throughout the week and a half long event.
The AMHR National Championship Show now offers close to 300 classes for Miniature Horses to enter. Competitions in halter, driving, jumping, costume, youth classes and more stir the crowd as they cheer on their favorites. And with over $50,000 in cash and prizes in championship and futurity classes the atmosphere is one of high stakes and high spirits.
AMHR Miniature Horses may compete in one of two divisions. Division “A” Miniatures must stand at 34” and under, while Division “B” Miniatures must measure under 38”. But don’t let their small stature fool you; Miniature Horses are big fun for children and adults.
“The exciting array of classes, combined with the multiple shopping opportunities at the mini-mall make this is a can’t-miss event for the entire family,” says Johnny Robb, AMHR Marketing Director. “Each year more horse lovers and families come to enjoy the show. And once they come they are hooked on our little horses.”
As in 2007, the 2008 AMHR Nationals Championships will be televised for future programming. “Watching these horses on TV is like reliving the show all over again”, said Marcia Yeager, who’s son Gary Yeager made it the winner’s circle with Laurie Villalpando’s Grand National Champion Stallion, N.J. Sandhill Spirit.
