The 2009 Int. German Championship was another huge success for NCHA Germany. The event took place at the beautiful Brodhecker-Burghof facility close to Darmstadt in Germany. 70 horse-rider-combinations from all over Europe had nominated for this event that was both NRHA U.S.A. and Germany as well as AQHA approved and offered a total purse of $ 15,000. Excellent ground for cutting, 300 fine cattle and a top judge (AAA-judge Paul Taylor) made the Int. German Championship Germany’s number 1 cutting event this year.

In the Open the winner came from the Netherlands: Paul Derrez rode his 9-year-old stallion Smartest Ninna Pep to a total score of 148.5. Peponitas Litt Girl and Uwe Niedostatek (Germany) placed second scoring a 143.5, Double Down Merada and Alain Boissier (France) placed third scoring a 142.5.

In the Non Pro, Alain Boissier (France) and his Double Down Merada scored a total of 148.5 winning the title. The grey American Quarter Horse gelding has won many national and international titles for Alain Boissier during the last years. Last year’s champion Uwe Oser and his 20-year-old mare Willys Just Do It became Reserve Champion this time scoring a 146. Joys Bobbie Cat and Wolfgang Domnick placed third scoring a 141.

Wolfgang Domnick and his Joys Bobbie Cat became Int. German Champion Amateur. The gelding by High Brow Cat dominated both go rounds and received a total of 146. Linda Villing and A Holly Berry placed second scoring a 137, Torsten Graetz and Smart Scooter Cat placed third (136).

Triple Success for the Niedostatek Family
The German Championship was another successful event for German trainer Uwe Niedostatek and his daughter Sandra. With Peponitas Litt Girl, Sandra became Int. German Champion in the Youth division with Natalie Popov and Especial Aristocat placing second and Sven Oser and Boyz Aglow placing third.

Uwe Niedostakek won both the Limited 10 000 and the Limited 3000 with Candy Get Your Gun (Score 144) resp. Bowder Puff Bob (139). In the Limited 10 000, Ute Holm with Sherees Doll and Enja Libor with Dmac Termintior tied for second place scoring a 140. In the Limited 3000, Valentinos Peppy and Paul Derrez became Reserve Champion.
