With only one year to go until the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, the city of Lexington and the World Games Foundation invite the community to celebrate with a downtown festival where leadership will make an announcement regarding ticket sales. The 2010 Games will kick-off for the first time in the U.S. on Sept. 25, 2010 and last for 16 days, ending on October 10.
What:The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, in conjunction with the city of Lexington’s “Spotlight Lexington,” will celebrate the one-year-to-go mark and announce ticket sales with a festival downtown at the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza.
When:Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at 11 a.m.

Why:The 2010 Games will be the largest sporting event in America next year. Hundreds of supporters are expected to celebrate at Courthouse Plaza in a show or regional and national support of this international event.
