The first numbers after the first deadline: 14 nations -
21 % increase in Open – 27 % in Non Pro

T Lill, 2009 NRHA European Futurity Champion Bernard Fonck, three times NRHA World Champion Open Rudi Kronsteiner and NRHA Open Derby Champion Kelly Zweifel, as well as two times NRHA Non Pro Wohese are the first numbers after the first Futurity deadline of the 2010 NRHA European Futurity: so far, 99 horse-rider-combinations have nominated for the Open Futurity classes. In contrast to last year’s 82, this is an increase of 21 per cent. And it is even more impressive in the Non Pro with 56 horse-rider- combinations (last year: 44) – 27 per cent more than in 2009. And the list of competitors is quite impressive as wellwith riders like FEI European Champion Ninarld Champion Cira Baeck, NRHA Non Pro Reserve World ChampionTina Kuenstner-Mantl and FEI European Champion Young Riders Chiara Bartoletti in the Non Pro. And late entries are still possible if a late entry fee is paid.
Deadline for Ancillary Classes: February 1
The NRHA European Futurity is scheduled for March 7 to 13, 2010 at Kreuth / Germany. Besides the Futurity classes in four levels, there is a full slate NRHA Show. The deadlinme for these ancillary classes is approaching fast: February 1.
Altogether, there will be competitors from 14 nations: Germany, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Sweden, Austria, Australia, Canada, the United States, France and Poland. The event is judged by six international judges: Jim Kiser (USA), Ed Cridge (USA), Rick Lemay (SWE), Eugenio Latorre (ITA), Ralf Hesselschwerdt (GER) and Jan Steffl (ITA).
Free Entry for Visitors!
The NRHA European Futurity starts with the first Go round on Sunday, March 7, the finals following on March 12 and 13. During the other days, there will be a number of other attractive NRHA classes. For visitors (10,000 watched the European Futurity in 2009), this show is a real festival of reining – especially as entry is free at all days.
Trainers and Breeders’ Point in the Festhalle
When top reining horses and trainers from all over the world meet for the 2010 NRHA European Futurity, this is also a perfect platform for marketing. For 2010, the show management of the NRHA European Futurity created a meeting point for breeders and trainers in the beautiful Festhalle Rieden which is right beside the Ostbayernhalle in Kreuth. Here trainers and breeders find the perfect surroundings to present themselves and their ranches.
