Arabian
AHA needs your help in providing native costumes for the Parade of Breeds at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. The Marketing Development and Promotions Committee were instrumental in getting a new Arabian placed at the park to represent the breed. DART, as the handsome grey gelding is affectionately called, was donated by Rik Harnden, of Rescue, Calif. A variety of costumes are needed for both horse and rider. As various riders will show DART daily in the Parade of Breeds, several choices in costumes are needed to keep things fresh. The donor of a costume for Dart will be recognized with a permanent plaque at the Breed Barn in the Kentucky Horse Park where Dart performs on a daily basis. Costume measurements for DART are below.
