Mini & Pony
The National Bridle Shop, a tack shop known for providing “everything” for the horse and rider since 1947, has joined the American Shetland Pony Club and American Miniature Horse Registry (ASPC/AMHR) as a national sponsor. National Bridle offers an exclusive line of saddles, pads, blankets, halters, headstalls, bits and more for Shetland ponies and minis, and is dedicated to providing small equines with all of their equestrian needs.
“National Bridle is very excited to be sponsoring the American Shetland Pony Club and American Miniature Horse Registry. We are looking forward to introducing the ASPC/AMHR members to our quality products designed especially for Shetland ponies and minis,” said Kris Burgio, Director of Marketing for the National Bridle Shop. “In fact, National Bridle is offering ASPC/AMHR members $10 off any $75 order through the end of February.”
Based in Lewisburg, Tennessee, National Bridle is family owned and operated by the Beech family. “National Bridle began as a tack shop for gaited horses, but we have made a huge entry into the small equine market,” Burgio said. “We have unique items for small equines that are not found at local tack shops and we also have our own shop where we make many of our leather goods.”
Burgio added that exceptional customer service has always been a trademark of National Bridle and that the majority of the customer service staff are seasoned horse people. “If small equine owners have a question about tack or other supplies, all they have to do is call,” Burgio said.
“National Bridle has an entire line of wonderful products for Shetland Ponies and minis, so the partnership is a natural fit,” said Zona Schneider, ASPC/AMHR Director of Operations. “The American Shetland Pony Club has been in existence for over 120 years and National Bridle has been a leading tack shop for more than 60 years, so we are especially pleased that these two industry icons are working together.”
Started in 1888, the American Shetland Pony Club is one of the oldest equine registries in the United States. Incorporated in 1972, the American Miniature Horse Registry was first the registry for Miniature Horses in the United States and continues to be one of the foremost organizations committed to the preservation and promotion of these small equines.
