Trail area is beautiful, rolling hills with some rocks
(shoes or Easy Boots recommended)
primitive camping – bathrooms & horse water available -no corrals available

What is a Competitive Trail Ride (CTR)?
-A timed, judged event in which a horse and rider compete over a marked trail within a specific period of
time. Experienced veterinarians judge the horse on condition, soundness, and manners. Judging begins
in camp at the first pre-ride check-in and continues throughout the event. (AHA Handbook)

25-mile & 35-mile CTRs – all breeds
35-mile AHA REGION 7 CHAMPIONSHIP for Arabians & Half-Arabians

7:30 a.m. 35-Mile $80 Adults; $65 Juniors Region 7 Championship AHA recognized ride
7:30 a.m 35-Mile $70 Adults; $50 Juniors Open Ride & AHA recognized ride
8:00 a.m. 25-Mile $55 Adults; $40 Juniors Open Ride & AHA recognized ride
8:30 a.m. 15-Mile $40 Adults; $30 Juniors Training ride including all steps of actual CTR
Animals in the 35 mile rides must be at least 60 months old; 48 months old for the 25 & 15 mile rides
VET CHECK-IN: Friday, May 7th, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Riders are required to pre-vet, late vet checks on Saturday a.m. by special arrangements only
DINNER: Friday , 4:30 pm
Each paid entry receives 1 meal.
Additional meals are available for $10
RIDE MEETING: Friday, 5:30 pm
