The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) announced today that fashion jean manufacturer newcomer Iron Horse Jeans will be its Official Jean Sponsor for the next seven years.
"When visiting Iron Horse's display area at WESA (Western & English Sales Association) in January in Denver, AHA was blown away by the look and visible quality of their denim," says Dan Lawrence, senior director of marketing and sales for AHA. Iron Horse Jeans will be the first in the crowded premium fashion denim market to offer a 12-month customer satisfaction guarantee," added Lawrence.
The deal gives Iron Horse Jeans AHA category exclusive corporate partners status, positioning the two organizations for a long-term co-branded marketing strategy that provides AHA members with a 10 percent discount on all jean products and locks the relationship down during the critical rollout and early product lifecycle period.
"They're a new brand just getting started. We represent the oldest horse breed in the world that is working hard to regain our momentum. It's just a good old-fashioned nice fit, if you can appreciate the metaphor," says Lawrence.
"We were looking for an equine partner that was as high quality and aesthetically appealing as our jeans," said Mark Wentura, Iron Horse Jeans president. "When you see an Arabian horse move at liberty there is no question that you're looking at an Arabian — no other horse moves like that. This is what we want people to think when they see people wearing our jeans. We want to hear them say, 'Wow, what are those and where can I buy a pair!'" Wentura added.
The jean company also boasts products that are manufactured with AZO free materials, making them as earth friendly as possible.
According to Tony Castellano, Iron Horse Jeans chief executive officer, the new products will begin shipping to stores in May and will be available at quality retailers everywhere. Iron Horse products will also be available for purchase at all AHA national shows as well as a select number of regional and local shows.
