The Miniature Horse Association of Arizona announces that the 23rd Annual Touch of Class Miniature Horse Show will be a three-day event on March 26, 27, and 28 in 2010.
The smallest horses that you would ever see, measuring 34”and under at the withers, will be
showing off their graceful gaits and flowing tails under the equidome at Westworld of Scottsdale
located at 16601 North Pima Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona.
The registered American Miniature Horses will show in halter and performance classes,
jumping, obstacle, liberty, driving and roadster categories. The costume class with horse and
handler dressed up in costumes is a sight to see. A special feature of the infamous Mini Mystique
Precision Drill Team will be the half-time attraction on Sunday, March 28th. On the final day a
raffle drawing for a live Miniature horse has been scheduled.
The Arizona Touch of Class Show in its 23rd year is the biggest show of the littlest horses, the
American Miniature Horse, in Arizona. Horse owners from neighboring states to Arizona will be
entering their horses in the exciting equine exhibitions. The horses are groomed and shown and
those that win at the decisions of four judges accumulate points for national competition at the
American Miniature World Show held later in the year.
For spectators, the small horses are delightful to see from the equidome seats to the barn stalls.
The admission and parking are free. Food, refreshments and vendor booths will be available on
the show grounds. For more information about the upcoming event and Miniature Horses, check
