Paint & Color Breeds
The Paint Horse Journal, the official monthly publication of the American Paint Horse Association, was recently nominated for 10 awards in the categories of editorial content and design for the 2010 American Horse Publications (AHP) annual awards contest.
Out of 783 entries from 97 AHP members, the Paint Horse Journal received 10 nominations in six categories. The AHP Annual Awards Contest provides members with an opportunity to be recognized for excellence in equine publishing, as well as professional critiques for improvement. Twenty-three professional judges placed the classes and provided critique for all entries.
The results of the Awards Contest will be announced during the awards presentation on June 19, 2010, during the AHP 40th Anniversary Seminar at the Lexington Downtown Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky. They will be posted on the AHP Web site after the awards presentation. The finalist entries will also be displayed at the hotel on June 20 to provide seminar attendees with time to review them.
