The Gay Polo League is pleased to announce their schedule for the upcoming months.
HRC Presents the Gay Polo League (GPL) Exhibition Match on August 1,2010 at the Will Rogers Polo Club in Pacific Palisades, CA. The first GPL Team hits the field at 9:30a.m and two GPL teams play at 11:00a.m.
The second exciting event is the Menlo Invitational Polo Tournament at the Menlo Polo Club in Atherton, CA. This tournament runs September 25-26, 2010. Developing riders and intermediate riders will have the opportunity to challenge each other in an exhilarating game of polo.
Starting off the 2011 year for the GPL will be the United States Gay Polo Tournament at the El Dorado Polo Club, Indio, CA. The tournament is scheduled for February 20, 2011.
Lastly, one of the most exciting events of the spring 2010 polo season will be coing back to the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, FL. The 2nd Annual International Gay Polo Tournament will return April 2, 2011.
Chip McKenney, President and Founder of the GPL noted, "Last year, we showed the world we could organize a great polo tournament. This year, we will show the world in addition to a great polo tournament we can organize a great party."
The GPL is excited about these upcoming events. Each tournament will take place at the top polo venues in the United States. During these tournaments polo players will have the opportunity to hone in on their polo skills and play with the top polo professionals in the world. More details will be presented as the calendar year moves forward.

GPL is the sole international polo league to be primarily comprised of lesbian and gay players. Founded to enable gay men and women to share their interest in this unique sport, GPL has created a community of passionate, like-minded athletes. GPL's mission is to provide the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) community with the opportunity to develop and refine the necessary skills for participating in this exceptional sport.
