Reining
The 3rd Annual Classic Championship Horse Show for Cancer Awareness will be held August 19-22, 2010 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Three very exciting events will encompass this show. The 20th Anniversary of the Pacific Coast Horse Shows Association Jack and Linda Baker Reining Championship Finals, the 15th Anniversary of the Pacific Coast Horse Shows Association Trail Classic, and a very special Trail Clinic given by well known trail horse course designer Tim Kimura.
The horse show will also feature a fun Pro-Am Trail Challenge, and a silent Auction benefiting a CURE FOR CANCER research.
The 15th Annual PCHA Trail Classic is a 3 go-round event. Top prizes this year will be cash. Other special awards will also be handed out. Every participant will receive a prize for competing. The courses for this event are tough and challenging, which makes it even more exciting!
Tim Kimura, Trail Horse Course Designer extraordinaire, will give a Trail Horse Clinic for beginners to advanced riders and horses. This clinic is free to horse show participants. This is a rare opportunity to learn about Trail Classes, and manipulating Trail Horse courses.
The 20th Annual PCHA Baker Reining Classic will be held Aug. 20-21 in a two go-round event. Riders must have qualified to ride in the Finals. Three saddles will be awarded in the Finals. Seven perpetual trophies will also be awarded. Every Finalist receives prizes. The Finals this year are dedicated to the Champion Reining horse, Rona Doc, who passed away this year.
This horse show will offer a complete slate of Pacific Coast Horse Show Association approved classes, along with an AQHA Horse Show. This is a chance for exhibitors to get points from two associations.
Fantastic awards, Trophies, Wonderful Vendors and sponsors, all together for a special cause. What could be better for a horse show?
