Arizona trainer Randy Paul competed in two shows in just two weeks and walked away with one championship title, one reserve championship title, and more than $11,000 in the bank.
At The Reining By The Bay in Woodside, California, Paul piloted Star For The Chicks, owned by Rancho Oso Rio, LLC, of Scottsdale, Arizona, to scorching 230 score to tie for the reserve championship. The finish earned a paycheck worth $5444. Paul also tied for seventh place on Tinker With Diamonds, also owned by Rancho Oso Rio. The pair scored a 224.5 to earn a check worth $1614.
After the completion of the Reining By The Bay, Paul headed to Denver, Colorado, for the annual Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association Summer Slide. There, Paul topped the Open Futurity on Pale Face Dunnit, owned by Shari Kay Jaster of Franktown, Colorado. The pair scored a 222 to win a check worth $4057.
Randy Paul is based out of Rancho Oso Rio in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is an NRHA Million Dollar Rider and has three AQHA World Championships and an NRHA Open Futurity title to his credit, in addition to multiple other reining and reined cow horse titles to his credit.
