Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre proudly announces the arrival of Tim Lynch as the facility’s new General Manager. Lynch comes to Queen Creek after serving as the General Manager of Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma, for the past eight years.
Prior to his work at Hardy Murphy Coliseum, Lynch’s early years in the “horse business” included a stint as a Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) Rodeo Clown. However, his love of training horses took precedence and he built a career as a National Reining Horse Association (NHRA) Judge, a clinician, a trainer and a showman specializing in Reining Horses. While serving as a judge and clinician, Lynch made more than two dozen trips to Europe, Japan and Mexico.
As a trainer, Lynch earned several world titles in various breed organizations, and was a finalist in many events in the NRHA. A reserve championship in the NRHA Derby was one of his proudest accomplishments.
“We’re excited to welcome Tim to Queen Creek,” said Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney. “His experience and background will help take Horseshoe Park to the next level. I’m excited to see what types of events Tim is able to bring in to our community!”
In Lynch’s role as General Manager, he is charged with increasing the number and variety of multi-day events, elevating the visibility of the facility on a local, regional and national level, increasing sponsorships, and managing the day-to-day operations.
