The first thing we are doing in September will be the 4th & 5th with the NBHA all districts barrel race at the Flagstaff Hay and Grain. NCBRA will be hosting another Wayne Sandberg Memorial Pole Bending. There is a $100 added each day and the fees are $40. To get to the arena take I17 north to I40 to the Page turn off 89 go north look for a Cheveron station on the left and arena is on the right a 1/4 mile down the road.
For more information please check our websites www.ncbra.com , http://nbhaaz02.com www.theclassifiedhorse.com .

Our event for September 18th will be Saturday night at the Kiwanis Larkyn Memorial Arena in New River AZ. We invite everyone to come out and ride with us. The Larkyn Arena is in great shape, they have had barrel and pole practice most Tuesday nights for a few months now. The ground has been very good and we have really enjoyed the Tuesday nights there in New River.
To come out take the New River Road to 15th Ave. and go north, there is a brown sign for the arena on the right hand side of the road at 15th Ave. If you need more info please call Crystal Logan@ 623-694-7646.

The books for this September 18th race will open at 6:00, time onlys will start at 6:15 to 7:15 We will start at 7:30 with the 4D Open barrel race, followed by the age groups Colts (15&under) Warriors (16to49) Lions (50&over) then the 4D Open Pole Bending ( with 1 second splits).
We do have added money at all our events. On Sept 18th there will be $150 added to the open barrels and $100 added to the open poles. There is no arena fee and all the jackpots are a 70% payback. The entries for the open events will be $40 and the age classes will be $30.
There is a $5 per person day membership charge for anyone who isn’t a member yet.
We have prizes for the pewee kids and their entry fee is $5. We do have a dress code, please wear pants and boots, no tank tops, spaghetti straps & no half shirts.
The Kiwanis will have a concession stand set up at the arena, so everything is in place for a fun night, we just need you to come and join us! NCBRA is open to all levels of riders.

We had a very good time at the Diamond J Rodeo Bible Camp in Oroville, Washington August 7th through the 12th . Crystal Logan and Stacey Anderson went to help with what ever was needed to do. Crystal worked with the girls in the Pole Bending and helped Lynn McKenzie in the Barrel Racing. Stacey worked on setting up things up in the camp to make things nice for the 45 campers. They had riders and instructors for every rodeo event. It was great we had very full days working on the events and great evenings of fellowship and worship with the Christian Country Band called “Branded”.
At the end of the camp Al and Joanie Parsons who have had the camp for many years had a celebration time with all of us and we had baptisms in the water trough again! Twelve people including kids and adults were baptized that day.
It is a wonderful connection for NCBRA to be able to help a ministry like Al and Joanie’s, they are some really good people who love the Lord and have given their life to minister to rodeo kids and people everywhere they go.

The NBHA and NCBRA Payson event held August 14th and 15th was a really good race. NBHA held the event and had a good turn out of barrel racers with some great runs and good payouts. NCBRA hosted the Wayne Sandberg Memorial Pole Bending With 11 riders the first day and 13 riders on Sunday.
