Ride to Walk, a non-profit organization that provides Equine Assisted Therapy to children with Neurological Disabilities in our community, is having their 6th Annual “Boots & Scoots” BBQ and Barn Dance Fundraiser, Saturday, October 9, 2010. This is the major fundraiser for Ride to Walk.
Due to grant cutbacks, Ride to Walk relies on sponsorships and fundraisers.
It’s all about helping disabled children overcome limitations. Riding horses helps those with Muscular Problems - Strengthening Bodies and Spirits and Empowering Children with Disabilities. It’s all about the joy a disabled child experiences at Ride to Walk.
