Roping
Stephenville, Texas, June 9, 2011 – The United States Team Roping Championships, the national governing body for the sport of team roping, has added another tool to its communications arsenal with the addition of a Facebook page.
“Social media has clearly become an important tool for growing businesses who want to reach their customer,” said USTRC President Kirk Bray. “Facebook will complement the USTRC web site, the monthly e-newsletter, blog and YouTube channel, as well as the USTRC smart phone application by tying all of those things together into one convenient location for the members.”
Bray also said the USTRC Facebook page will likely seem a bit different from the ordinary.
“Visitors to our Facebook page will see some fairly dynamic pages that are customized to provide direct links to the information they need on a more timely basis,” he said. “With the integration of Facebook into so many areas of communication, the USTRC member will be notified of event changes, upcoming events, and news faster and more accurately than ever before.”
The USTRC page is listed as USTRC and as a sports league on the social media site. To locate the page, type USTRC in the search field.
