Gabriel Javier
16 years old; Gabriel was part of the team of the 2010 AQHA Youth World Cup. He became involved with the American Quarter Horse business by Fauntly Garrido. His favourite AQHA events are Reining, Cutting, and Horsemanship. Gabriel likes to play basketball, hang out with friends, and watch TV.
Angel Vidal
16 years old, was part od the Team in 2010 as well. Angel’s uncle is a horse breeder, trainer, and owner. He has been his trainer since then and is helping him reach his full potential showing American Quarter Horses. Angel’s favorite AQHA events are reining and cutting. His other hobbies are basketball and going to the gym.
Giancarlo Mejia Diaz
16 years old. Giancarlo became involved with the American Quarter Horse in his school as they give as extra curricular class the equestrian discipline. Reining is his favourite event. His hobbies are baseball and going to the beach.
Laura Alvarez
She is the only girl of the team. 17 years old; she goes to New Horizons School and hopes to become a surgeon in near future. She is graduating from high school this summer. Laura has been a western rider for 4 years and her most memorable horse moment was when she finally got her own horse Boogie Flashy Cat. Her hobbies are volleyball, reading fiction books and of course western riding. Its her second time at the AQHA Youth World Cup.
