Bill Thompson, nationally known television professional and the creator of one of the longest running shows in broadcast history, Wallace and Ladmo – Arizona’s most celebrated children’s television show – will star as shop keeper Wally in Copper Wind, the only full-length feature western to be filmed exclusively in Arizona from inception through completion with all Arizona talent and scenery, and to be produced and premiered during the state’s centennial year. Phoenix, Ariz.-based Six Gun Entertainment, LLC, which is producing the motion picture, began filming on June 6, 2012.
Emmy award winner Thompson, whose award-winning show ran for more than 35 years on KPHO TV in Phoenix, Ariz., established the wildly popular show, which also starred Ladimir Kwiatkowski and Pat McMahon, among others. He has inspired many well known actors and industry leaders including Steven Spielberg, Alice Cooper, Don Rickles, Art Linkletter and others.
Headquartered in Paradise Valley, Arizona, Six Gun Entertainment, LLC is a headlining Wild West theatrical stunt and production company that brings the Wild West back to life with a fistful of vengeance.
