Among the not-to-be-missed newcomers at Dressage at Devon this year will be PanaCavallo and partners, Cavalleria Toscana. PanaCavallo will be introducing their new line of bridles and kicking off their exciting partnership with Cavalleria Toscana, an elegant line of Italian equestrian clothing. PanaCavallo and Cavalleria Toscana will be based in the booth just behind the show office at Dressage At Devon, giving dressage enthusiasts a peak at the new PanaCavallo bridles and the hottest new looks in Italian equestrian fashions.

Michael Davis, owner of PanaCavallo, is thrilled to partner with Cavalleria Toscana and launch their debut at Devon, one of the premier equestrian events in the country. “In addition, Trilogy Saddles, a distributor of our PanaCavallo bridles will also be at Devon showcasing the bridles and building customized bridles at the show,” Davis added.

Debbie Witty, President of Trilogy, said she is excited about the PanaCavallo bridles and feels their quality of workmanship is superb. The bridles really enhance the comfort of the horse. Best of all, Witty will offer custom fitted PanaCavallo bridles. “There are four different types of PanaCavallo bridles and they are all very horse friendly, offering great comfort for the horse in addition to being extremely functional,” Witty said.

Cross A Ranch Skincare
What started out as a hobby of a few beehives, soon turned into a skincare business for a family spanning three generations. Margy Brown was a woman rancher at the Cross A Ranch outside of Lusk, Wyoming. “Ranching in Wyoming is treacherous on your skin – especially your hands,” said Brown. “Once you get a cut, it stays there all winter, and you can just forget about soft skin.”

Or so she thought. One day while capping the beeswax from the hives, she realized how good it felt on her skin. “It was so moisturizing and protective,” she said. Thumbing through some old recipe books of her grandmother’s, she realized it was possible to make her own cosmetics at home. And then in her Bee Journal, she found an article on making cosmetics from the hive. By combining ideas from both of those sources, she came upon something that really worked on her terribly dry skin. “Since my goal wasn’t to start a business,” said Brown, “I used products that were not necessarily cheap, but worked.” She liked her formulation so much that she gave some away that year for Christmas gifts. That was several years ago and since then, thousands of loyal customers from across the country swear by Cross A Ranch Skincare products.

Lanolin and beeswax are the main ingredients in the majority of the products because lanolin is very similar to the oils found in the human skin. The beeswax acts as a double protector by forming a barrier on skin that keeps natural moisture in and prevents soaps and detergents from irritating the skin. With mostly natural ingredients, Cross A Ranch Skincare hosts a minimal amount of preservatives; just enough to give it about a two year shelf life.
