Parada Del Sol Queen Pageant Nov. 3, 2007

The Parada del Sol Rodeo Committee will be holding the 2008 Parada del Sol Rodeo Queen Pageant on November 3, 2007. It will be a day long event to determine the 2008 Parada del Sol Rodeo Queen. The pageant is open to Young Women between the ages of 21-26, by the date of the competition, who have never been married, preganant, or are not currently engaged. Orientation for the Pageant will be held on Sept 22nd in conjunction with the "Representing Your Rodeo" Seminar hosted by Morgan Gardella, Royalty Chairman.
The 2008 Parada del Sol Rodeo Queen will be chosen to promote the 2008 Parada del Sol Rodeo, which will be held Feb 29-Mar 2, 2008 in Scottsdale, AZ at Westworld of Scottsdale.
WHO IS THE PARADA DEL SOL RODEO QUEEN?
The Parada Del Sol Rodeo Queen symbolizes the youth of our community; who wishes to further promote the sport of rodeo and in doing so promote our western heritage.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE THE PARADA DEL SOL RODEO QUEEN?
While promoting the sport of rodeo and spreading good will for her community and state, the Parada del Sol Rodeo Queen will attend a variety of events and will be promoting the values that go into living the western way of life. She will be laying a solid foundation for her future by learning about marketing, self promotion, and event promotion. It means commitment and a lot of hard work. She will receive a crown, sash, and other accessories to distinguish her in her endeavors during her reign. She will be the face of the Parada del Sol and will symbolize the pride and hard work that goes into running the Parada del Sol Rodeo by the Parada del Sol Rodeo Committee.
WHAT TYPE OF YOUNG WOMEN DOES THE A PARADA DEL SOL RODEO QUEEN COMPETITION ATTRACT?
A. Young women who wish to be a leader in her community and further promote the western way of life.
B. Young women who love horses and everything they represent, and who want to show the world what can be accomplished while living in this environment.
C. Young women who want to act as an official representative of the sport of rodeo.
D. Young women who are interested in furthering their chosen career through higher education and special training.
