Arizona State Horsemen's Association Fifth McDowell Mountain Regional Park Poker Ride/Trail Ride Event

Event limited to the first 100 people - everyone plays a hand!
Park at the trail head, 3 miles in, first paved road on the right. $5.00 per vehicle admission to the park, pay at front gate. The Park opens at 6:00am.
7:30-8:30am - Sign-in at park ramada, get maps, questionnaires. Complimentary coffee, juice and doughnuts will be served.
9:00am - Ride out on either the Scenic Trail (about 4 miles), or the Pemberton - Stoneman Loop (about 13 miles). For everyone's safety, there will be Trail Bosses leading and Drag Riders trailing the main groups. Depending on numbers, there may be several groups leaving at staggered times.
11:30am - 1:30pm - A catered lunch will be served.
The catered lunch/poker ride is being offered for $25/each. This fee includes the lunch, plus playing your hand. Everyone plays!
Lunch/Poker Ride must be pre-paid by October 15th, 2007.

Please observe the following rules for safety:
1. Stay on the designated trail.
2. Stay with your group, and behind your trail boss. Do not lag behind the drag rider without permission.
3. No consumption of alcoholic beverages while on trail.
4. No glass containers are allowed in park.
5. No stallions, and no dogs, please.
6. Do not stop at the bottom of a hill, or halfway up when other horses are behind you.
7. Place a red ribbon on your horse's tail if it is a kicker.
8. Only one rider per horse.
