Have you strayed from the path of fun and recreation with your horse? If so, check out our Timeline for the necessary course corrections back to the important things of life. Warning: it has been documented that not showing up at the specified times and places on the Timeline could have an adverse effect on the health and well-being of both you and your horse! So, please, won’t you join us?!
Lost Desert Riders Timeline
(AZ Desert Riders scheduled rides and events)
First, we would like to wish everyone out there a wonderful holiday season. Be safe in your travels. Hopefully, sometime amid all the hustle and bustle of the season you will be able to relax on the trail with your horse. It is because of the time of year that our timeline is a little sketchy, but check out our website – www.azdesertriders.com for additional ride information.
We would like to invite you to mark your calendar for the AZ Desert Riders Annual Wickenburg Ride next February 6-10, 2008. We would really like to share 4 days of great trail riding, wonderful campfire camaraderie, and some terrific cowboy cooking with all of you. This year we will have some new trails to ride on (along with a poker ride). We will have trail rides on both Thursday and Friday. On Saturday morning you can either ride in the Gold Rush Days Parade or go on another trail ride. In camp every evening we will have a campfire with some activities (bingo, cowboy singing, auction, and more). Saturday night we will be raffling off a saddle and a HD TV.
There will be a fee for this ride – for more info go to our website or call Russ at 623-587-1697 or e-mail- Ranchodelruss@yahoo.com . The fee covers the cost of the meals. The meals start with breakfast Thursday morning and go through Saturday night (which traditionally is a steak dinner). After dinner Saturday night there will be a raffle for a saddle and a HDTV. We look forward to riding with all of you!
