Top Highlights of the 2008 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show!!

Kick Off Party with Heart & Emerson Drive in concert on Valentines Day at WestWorld. There was a wonderful crowd and the bands were amazing. The crowd loved the concert and it was very well attended, the bands were both amazing!!!

The Gamblers Choice where Arabians and Half-Arabian horses race around the arena jumping obstacles for points. The horse with the most points and no penalties within the time limit is declared the champion. The competition this year was great they raced around which the spectators loved!!

Arabian & Half-Arabian Reining Futurity at Scottsdale where the young horses competed for $130,000 in prize money. This again this year showcased some amazing new reining horses and the President of the NRHA was in attendance and felt other shows need to learn from our show!!!

The Farnam $5000 Arabian Freestyle Liberty Class where beautiful Arabian Horses are set free in the arena saddleless and bridleless to music. This class this year had 18 entries and many of the horses were fantastic, the sold out crowd on Saturday night loved the finals!

Scottsdale Supreme Halter Champion, where they are judged on their beauty. This was very exciting this year as the Supreme Champion halter horse was unanimous Champion.

The Scottsdale Signature Stallion classes where nominated SSS foals competed for over $400,000 in halter and performance classes. The winners in these classes went home with a nice check this year and the competition was very deep. These classes highlight our future superstars in the performance and halter divisions.

The $100,000 Arabian English Pleasure Futurity Classic at Scottsdale was also very exciting the best of the best competed in not only a pattern class but the finalists came back Saturday evening and competed for Champion demonstrating their amazing ability in the rail class.
