Latest Action from the NRCHA Fort Dodge Animal Health Celebration of Champions - Youth Limited NRCHA World Championship Finalists Determined

Reigning NRCHA Youth Limited National Champion Morgan Holmes led the 15 exhibitors in the Youth Limited preliminaries Friday, February 22. She and her horse, Smart Shooter, earned a 430.5, comprised of a 210.5 in the rein work and 220 in the boxing. Smart Shooter is by Smart Little Pistol and out of Dial Molly Snip.

Second in the Youth Limited Prelims was a tie between Kimberly Ferrante and Riley Chown, who both scored 427.5. Both girls marked 213 and 214.5 in the rein work and boxing, respectively.

Ferrante rode Hesa Chic Magnet, owned by Diane Short of Acton, California, while Riley Chown piloted Dolls Skeeter, owned by Cheryl and Robert Chown.

The Youth Limited Finals will be held Saturday, February 23.
