Jann Goodman Attains “Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist” Designation

The American Hippotherapy Certification Board of the American Hippotherapy Association, Inc is pleased to announce that Jann Goodman, a licensed physical therapist, has successfully passed the examination for certification as a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist. Jann is now entitled to the professional designation of Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist and the use of the initials “HPCS” after her name.

Hippotherapy is a specialty treatment within the practice of physical therapy in which the movement of the horse is used as part of an integrative treatment approach for patients with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, stroke and other conditions. Ms. Goodman specializes in the treatment of physical therapy and has been practicing Hippotherapy at Horses Help and the Therapy Zone for 7 years. Ms. Goodman is a Graduate of the University of Mississippi School Of Physical Therapy. She is currently serving at the American Hippotherapy State Chair.


This achievement represent a high level of knowledge and extensive experience in the practice of Hippotherapy and Ms. Goodman joins an elite group of only 60 practitioners nationwide who have achieved this status. Currently, she is one of only two therapists in the State of Arizona with this designation.
