Here I am again Folks and let me tell you – again I’ve been pretty busy. We got some new members on our AZ Mini Mystique Team and we have been practicing, practicing and more practice. I’ve had to do #1 spot and lead the team and show everyone where to go. Thanks Bonsai for letting me take over your place. It sure was fun. My two new friends, Maggie (driven by Jane) and Tiko (driving by Rand) are both doing really good in the performance. They followed my lead perfectly. What Bonzai – you want #1 spot back? Hmmm – maybe.

Let’s see what else we did since last month. The team that will be going to the Rose Bowl got their pictures taken last Sunday. Of course, I got mine taken too but then I found out that Mom isn’t going. She feels that I’m good enough that I can go without her as long as I promise to be good for Roz who will be driving me. I’ll be good because everyone along the parade will be looking for me. I’m such a hit! I have to admit, all my friends were a hit too.

We did go do that ADT competition and a lot of my friends, big and little, went too. It was so much fun seeing everyone - many members of our drill team along with a lot of other vse’s (that’s very small equine to you all that don’t know what it means) and doing our thing together. There were lots of big guys too that I know. I don’t care what place we come in; we all had fun and no one got hurt. That’s the bestest!

A few of you humans asked when and where the AZ Mini Mystique would be performing and parading. Mom put together a list for me.

May 3rd, Yarnell Parade
June 7th, Equifest in Prescott
June 28th, Parade in Prescott Valley
July 4th, Parks AZ Parade
July 5th, Prescott Rodeo Parade
October 18th and 19th, Ranch and Mining Festival in Yarnell where we will be performing.

Here is a list of other things that some of us will be at with other VSE’s, ponies and big horses. You know what, you could come too!
May 4th, Gary Gang’s Dressage and Hazard Training Clinic in Paulden
May 17th, ADCS ADT at Bliss Knight in Prescott
July 26th, SSC ADT clinic – free to members, easy to join.
August 23rd, SSC ADT at Atonna’s in Paulden.
September 13th, ADCS ADT at Butterfield’s
September 14th, Marathon Prep School at Butterfield’s.
October 11th, ADCS ADT in Paulden
October 26th, SSC Fun Show in Chino Valley

In between time, we will be practicing at the Souza’s in Desert Hills. You can always come there and see me and the others. I’ll even introduce everyone to you if you want. All you have to do is go to our website (that outer space thing again) www.minimystique.org and send me a note and I’ll tell you where and when to come see me. OK – the others too.

Now for the important part. Mom brought me home a girlfriend! Oh my - is she ever pretty. A little tall for me but that’s ok with me. I love to nozzle up to the fence and make goo goo eyes with her. She has the prettiest brown eyes that light up when I talk to her. And, wow, when I get out of her sight, she calls and calls me (not you Chevy-she’s mine) to come back to her. Mom calls her Angel and makes her work hard too. She doesn’t pull a cart yet but I’ll teach her when the time is right. I guess I’ll go and sing her a good night song. Let me see – Earth Angel – yep that sounds good!
