Hunter-Jumper competitors Michael and Luke Tokaruk are delighted to announce the new location of their Tokaruk Show Stables. The training, boarding, sales facility can now be found at Red Oak Farm, a 46-acre parcel in the heart of Bridle Creek, a 1,000 acres equestrian community currently in development just 11 miles from downtown Aiken.
The property is owned by Olympic gold medal event rider Phillip Dutton, and will still serve as his winter training facility when the Tokaruks are in Wellington, FL., for the Winter Equestrian Festival. The farm features a 17-stall barn, a cross-country field, and a nearly mile-long galloping track.
“As soon as we saw the place, we knew it was right for us” said Michael Tokaruk.” The barn, paddocks, rings, and overall atmosphere are top quality—which is important to us and consistent with our philosophy.”
To introduce their new surroundings, and as part of their ongoing commitment to the equestrian community, the Tokaruks will be hosting a “Champagne on Ice” fundraiser and silent auction at Red Oak to benefit the Equine Rescue of Aiken. Scheduled to coincide with this year’s Aiken Spring Classic, the event will take place Thursday, April 24th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm and all are invited to attend.
“We have already had a great response from local businesses,” said Michael. “Their generosity has been wonderful.” (Donations to the silent auction can be made by contacting the Tokaruk Show Stables at 803.652.7671.)
Designed with an eye on protecting and preserving the delicate environment, Bridle Creek was developed by a group of people, including the owners of Meybohm Realtors, for horse lovers and nature lovers alike. The equestrian portion of Phase I has sold the majority of its lots. “Phase II is now available by reservation and will boast winding roads laced between specimen trees as well as many other surprises,” states Bridle Creek’s Dineen Daniels. “It’s such fun to work with a beautiful piece of land, and it has been particularly great to attract such amazing clients.”
“It is an honor to have the Tokaruk Show Stables at Bridle Creek,” says owner Bill Boatman. “We look forward to helping many other Hunter/Jumper riders find their ‘perfect farm.’”
