Watch for the grand opening of the Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehab Center in Ocala, Florida. Although they are accepting horses on a limited basis, they are awaiting the installation of hyperbaric chamber later this month to officially open. Once that is in place, they will have a fully equipped equine rehabilitation facility. Their equipment is all state-of-the-art and includes :a water treadmill, cold saltwater leg spa, swimming pool, Pegasus Therapy Laser, Zamar Ice Therapy , a P3 Electromagnetic Pulse Therapy machine and a solarium for infra red light therapy. Each of these is designed to help the injured equine heal and regain function. They will be able to provide the latest in therapy for the injured animal; in addition, they will be able to condition animals with less stress on their joints.

Some of this equipment is portable. They have a mobile unit and can travel to farm or show. The facility can accommodate 42 horses and has a five-eighths of a mile track. The therapy is suitable for any type of performance horse. They expect to treat every variety of performance horse from Thoroughbreds to reining horses.
