Novelist Signs TV Deal

Filmed in Lancaster County and the surrounding Pennsylvania Dutch Country, the story quickly gained popularity among animal lovers internationally. Broadcast in its entirety on Children's Radio in New York City, the novel is being considered by producers for a feature film. "Negotiations are under way for other television projects," says Hevener, who can be heard discussing the film on a Special Edition of Animal Talk Naturally radio, May 22.

The June 7th Nicker Network broadcast marks the first time thed ocumentary "From the Pages of a Novel" will reach a television audience.
