Ariat Teams Up with the Cast of “Nashville Star”

Ariat International, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company has provided the latest styles from their western boot collection to the cast of the NBC’s “Nashville Star.”

Contestants were able to choose from a variety of styles as a gift from Ariat, the industry leader in western performance footwear. Styles included trend-right wide square toe boots for men and feminine embroidered boots for women. All footwear products feature Ariat’s exclusive technology to provide enhanced cushioning and stability, a welcome relief for these performers who spend hours on their feet rehearsing.

"Nashville Star" is the grassroots talent search to find America's next great music star. The winner of this year's competition will receive a major recording contract with Warner Bros. Nashville and the opportunity to perform at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing – where, as the official apparel supplier of the U.S. Equestrian Federation, Ariat will be providing all equestrian athletes with high-performance apparel to wear during competition.

This is the sixth season of "Nashville Star" which recently moved from cable to primetime on NBC. The first five seasons of the series have launched the careers of promising artists including Chris Young, Buddy Jewel, Erika Jo, current ACM triple nominee Miranda Lambert, Lance Miller and Angela and Zac Hacker.
