The 2010 Radio Show has released its first “Chatting with the Champions” Special Episode. Two time World Equestrian Games veteran Combined Driver Chester Weber and double Gold Medal Reiner Shawn Flarida join the show to share their experiences and to look forward to the Alltech FEI 2010 World Equestrian Games at the Kentucky Horse Park.

At the 2002 FEI World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, Weber helped the U.S. Driving Team earn a Silver Medal and he also placed fifth individually. Weber was also selected to represent the United States at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games where his team took eighth place. Weber, who is working hard to qualify for the 2010 WEG, talked about the excitement of having the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. Weber said, “Representing the United States is always an achievement and it is exciting to share my past experiences and talk about Four-In-Hand Combined Driving.”

Shawn Flarida is the NRHA's first Three Million Dollar Rider and All-Time Leading Money Earner. In 2002, Shawn qualified San Jo Freckles, owned by Michael Harper, for the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain, riding for Team USA. Shawn captured the individual gold medal and helped his team, which included Craig Schmersal, Scott McCutcheon and Tom McCutcheon, also capture the team gold medal. Shawn spoke about the horses he hopes to qualify for the 2010 WEG and the excitement of showing at the Kentucky Horse Park in 2010 (in his famous green shirt).
