Day #1 of a very scrapped right hind leg for Zephyr.
He cast himself overnight and this was the result first
thing the next morning. Wounds have been cleaned but
no products have been applied. Swelling is minimal at
this point, but it increases over the next few days.

Zephyr's Garden Healing Salve I is applied 2x's a day, leg
is wrapped, and Comfrey poultices are applied in the evening
for 2 hours to reduce swelling of leg and hock.






Day #6 of the same leg. Healing has clearly started, light
scabbing has formed and hair has begun to regrow in
some areas. Swelling has been reduced with Zephyr's
Garden Sore Muscle Gel, Comfrey poultices, and ice.

Zephyr never had any lameness from these injuries, though
the leg was sensitive to the touch. He allowed washing,
drying and salve applying without any hesitation.

Day #12 - What a difference. Hair regrowth is strong, hair
is growing in the correct color, scabbing is almost gone, leg
is no longer swollen. Healing Salve I is applied daily only
to areas that still have scabbing. Where hair is growing in,
salve is no longer applied.
