"Spring has Arrived"

This is a very, very exciting time for the AzQHYA, since we are about 1/2 way through the Youth World Show qualifying time line. With 4 show week-ends left. The remaining shows are the Amateur show on April 7-8 at WestWorld, the 2nd AzQHYA Show on April 28-29 at Horse Lovers Club (formerly Reach 11). The Tucson Classic May 5-6 & last but not least Sonoita May 18-20. So the best of luck to everyone hoping for an Arizona Youth Team position for AQHAYA World Show in Aug.
But the best news of all is how successful the AzQHYA Show that was held in conjunction with the Ride of Life Running Show was in spite of all the rain it was still very profitable for our association. Thanks all that supported our show with either their time or their money.
We had a very successful phone -a-thon right before the show - thank you so very much to the Simonsons for allowing us the use of their office, and to Ron Pint for being our active adult helper that night. We had about 15 youth members making calls, and had a really great time.
We were able to have a youth meeting at the Tucson show just this past week-end, where we discussed our success this year and how we'd like to work on college scholarships for our youth members, so that's in the works at this point. Good luck to all.
