It's a hot, grueling climb up the mountainous hills, especially with a trailer loaded with horses, but the rewards are bountiful. There's nothing more relaxing and satisfying than a week spent in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona. And, if you tie that all together with a world-class horse show - well, it goes without saying, "There's a great time to be had!"

The Lynne Bryson Memorial Tall Pines Show kicks off July 11th with the first of three AQHA shows starting at noon with roping and working cow horse classes. AQHA exhibition continues through Saturday, at which time the NRHA reining commences. Over $20,000 dollars in money and prizes will be awarded over the five exciting days.

We're delighted to host a free reining spectator clinic conducted by Al Dunning on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night is family fun night featuring a barbecue feast, silent auction, dog show and race, and maybe even a little dancing to the live sounds of some familiar-looking, spur-clad musicians. It's an event you won't want to miss!

Lodging for you and your family can be reserved by dialing 1-800-333-0785. Reserve stalls by dialing 1-714-444-2918. If you have any questions, or would like a premium, please call (623) 465-0467. So, mark your calendars; head north on I-17; exit at #337 (Coconino County Fairgrounds); and prepare yourself for some well-deserved rest and relaxation accompanied by prodigious amounts of crisp mountain air. Oh, you may want to bring a horse and ride some!
