Dancing Fire relaxing at home with her mom,

Olney's Hearts Afire, after their big show debut!

Congratulations to our winners at our June show. We were blessed with many of the mini horses which lined the area from one end to another. Thanks for supporting the show.

Join us in welcoming the youngest horse to ever participate in our shows. Kate Bogan's DBMA Huka's Dancing Fire (6 weeks old) placed 6th in a very LARGE color class. She was graciously accompanied by her mom, Lisa Buttweg's own Olney's Hearts Afire, who not only won the large mare class, but placed two steps above her daughter in the Tobiano color class.

Special thanks to Tony Boit of Boit Training Stables for doing an excellent job of judging. Our wonderful volunteers included: Stacey Koepsell, Tammy, Jamie and Tiffany Brown, Loni Harris and Gene and Maryann Clark. Thank you very much.

Our high point winners included: American Beauty, owned by Constance Taylor, shown to High point in the 13 and under division by Casey Huntley and the 14-18 division by Leah DeLozier. Newcomer Carol Burke swept the Amateur 19 and over division with Miss Mecate My Body. American Beauty is a 6 year old Arabian mare and Miss Mecate My Body is a 6 year old Quarter Horse mare. We are truly an Open All Breed show. Congratulations to our Grand Champion halter horse, Magic, shown by Erica George, a 3 year old paint filly.

Thanks to the following trainers that supported our show: Linda Leslie, Dennis McCoy, Jessica Bein and Jill DeLozier.

Stay cool this summer and practice up for our next close-of-the-summer-show, August 25th, when we will welcome newcomer to the valley, Larry Beethe as our judge. The show will be held at WestWorld, Arenas 5 and 5A, 6 p.m., followed by Western, Huntseat and Saddleseat.
