Gladstone, NJ-June 4, 2001-The United States Equestrian Team (USET) has announced the squad of twelve horse/rider combinations that will compete for the U.S. in the 2001 Burghley CCI**** Unofficial Team competition.The event will take place August 30 - September 2, 2001 in Stamford, Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom. Following is a list of riders (in alphabetical order);

Horse/rider combinations on the squad will be required to attend mandatory training sessions and mandatory outings prior to competing at Burghley CCI****.Four horse/rider combinations from the squad will be selected to represent the U.S. in the Unofficial Team competition.The remaining members of the squad will compete as Individuals.Members of the squad will receive USET European competition and training grants. The United States Equestrian Team is the non-profit organization that selects, trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest possible standard to represent our country in major international competition, including the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
