Chandler Vaqueros Saddle Club Queen

Howdy! How are you all? I am great! Well, this is my first time to write to everyone. The first thing I would like to do is to wish everyone 'Happy New Year'. My name is Kenzie Bedell the Chandler Vaqueros Saddle Club Rodeo Queen for 2002. I compete in the 15 to 25 age group and ride a bay mare named 'Skippa'. Our first gymkhana of the year was held on January 5th with an excellent turnout. We opened the event with the departing CVSC Queen for 2001 Breann Chambers taking her last hot lap as Queen; her 2001 attendants, Nicole Ferreira and Tory Whittlock, followed her. As they exited it was my turn to complete my first hot lap as reigning CVSC Queen for 2002, followed by my attendant for 2002, Charmayne Armington. The American flag followed closely behind carried by Natilie Uptain. It was a great way for all of us to start the New Year. Here are the results of our gymkhana:

Also we had performances by the CVSC Silverado's drill team. Kathy Adams and Natalie Uptain coach the Silveradoís. Thanks for all the time and hard work practicing and coming up with new routines.

We want to invite everyone to come out and ride with us at our next gymkhanas, which will be Saturday, February 23, 2002 and Saturday, March 9, 2002. Books open at 9:00 am and we run at 10:00 am at the Gilbert Rodeo Grounds. We are a family group and want to welcome anybody who loves horses, or just wants to come out and watch everyone having lots of fun. Hope to see you soon.
