Manson, WA (December 28, 2001) Lean With Me, one of the west coast's most renown stallions is making the move to Texas. After standing at the Bryant Ranch in Yamhill, Oregon for the past five years, owners Jon and Norma Sather have made the decision to stand Lean With Me at RB Quarter Horses in Valley View, Texas. Lean With Me, one of the headlining stallions associated with the "How the West Was Won" group, now joins nine other stallions recognized under the RB tagline, "Where Quality Congregates". "I met Raymond and Roz Beadle at their ranch, home of RB Quarter Horses, where cutting favorites High Brow Cat, Smart Aristocrat, Tumbleweed Smith, Color Me Smart, JR Colord Rambo and Smart N Slick stand. I felt like Lean With Me would fit in well with this group and he would have the opportunity to gain a higher level of exposure. After an extraordinary career which included AQHA Reining and Cow Horse World Championship titles and an NRHA Derby Championship title in Oklahoma, as well as a Reserve Champion title at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity in California, most breeders didn't have a chance to see Lean With Me again. "Given the fact that he has such a powerful pedigree and performance record, we felt it is time to bring him to a part of the country that had tremendous mare power" states owner Jon Sather. Together, leading trainers, Bob Avila and Todd Bergen rode Lean With Me to a numerous of NRHA, NRCHA and AQHA titles, and also earned a cover story in the NRHA Reiner and Horse & Rider magazine for his accomplishments. In just two foal crops he has already sired NRHA and NRCHA Futurity Finalists, NRBC, NCHA money earners and AQHA and APHA point earners. The Sathers own the full brother to Lean With Me, a bright Palomino stallion, Chex That Out who stands at the Bryant Ranch. "We really respect the way the Bryant's have handled all of our horses and Chex That Out will continue to stand at the Bryant's. Our commitment to both stallions is equal. However, we feel that it is important to introduce new people to our bloodlines comments Norma Sather." The Sathers own Lean With Me's dam Chexy Lady, by King Fritz, one of the all time leading AQHA Broodmares and producer of ten AQHA World Champion Titles. | |||||
