Well, it looks like she did it! Nancy Uptain said she would take the buckle and she did just that. However she had a run for her money. It wasn't me that posed a threat, though but rather Kelly Bennett (my wife). Oh, you ask what I'm talking about? It's Arizona Youth Rough Rider's 2001 open Gymkana championship for the 26+ age group. This age group attracts the most people and is the most competitive.

I told Nancy that if she beat me in total points this year, that I would write this article and take her picture with her winning buckle atop "The World Famous Blue-eyed Jack" (see picture). Every age group was challenged and all finished within close range. The year-end champions finished as follows:
